Halloween is imminent and spooky happenings are on the agenda on our high streets – and in our homes.

If your doors and windows open unexpectedly or you’re troubled by things that go bump in the night, you may be have concerns that your home is haunted.

In keeping with the spooky season, property specialists Chestertons have built an interactive tool to help you find out if you’re right to be concerned.

The aptly named How Haunted is Your House? microsite poses 12 questions on potential paranormal activity in your home, designed to reveal if it’s harbouring any ghosts or ghouls.

There’s also a regional map to help you uncover spooky news from your local area, from millionaire’s manor houses that remain for sale to this day, to whole villages that come to life after dark.
