It is with great sadness we announce the passing away of Gene peacefully in her sleep at the Lister Hospital on March 11th, just five days short of her 96th birthday. She was a loving and much loved mother, grandmother and great grandmother who will be greatly missed by all her family. A private funeral service will take place on Monday 29th March at 1.30 pm at the Abbey. Family flowers only. Donations if desired to be sent to Christian Aid via online funeral notice.
