08/12/1922- 22/01/2021 After a long and happy life, it is with great sadness we announce the passing of Tom Parker at the grand old age of 98. Tom will be remembered with much love and affection by Barbara his wife of 71 years, their 3 children Lee, Lyn and Ross, 8 Grandchildren and 8 Great Grandchildren. Born in Stockport and a resident of the Batchwood Hall estate since 1956 and one of the last remaining Chindits, he was known to many as Uncle Tom and Grandad Batchwood. Due to the current difficult situation, a private family funeral will be held. Donations if desired, in lieu of flowers to Friends of Batchwood and The Chindit Society via J J Burgess & Sons, Hatfield THOMAS WILLIAM PARKER
