ALAN THWAITES
Alan died peacefully at home on 4th December, aged 89. He was dearly loved by his wife Pam, sons John and Michael, daughter-in-law Jane, and granddaughters Lucy and Emily. Modest, astute, reasoned and fair with an unfailing sense of humour and a smile for everybody, Alan was gentle, kind, caring and loving, brightening the lives of all who knew him. Truly a lovely man.
