17.02.30 - 26.04.20 My dear sister passed away aged 90 at Trefoil House Nursing Home, Luton on 26 April where she had lived for some years. A widow to two husbands, Pamela left two adopted children Susan and Howard. It was Howard who shouldered the responsibility of her care. Pamela, originally from Cockfosters in Hertfordshire was a member of the Choir at Christ Church and a Girl Guide Leader. Pamela worked for the Bank of England all her life. She was married first to Leonard North and following his death from cancer she married Frank Beck. They first moved to Harpenden and then to Poole in Dorset. Following his death in 2005, she relocated to Luton and later to the care home where she contracted coronavirus. A private funeral will be held at a later date. PAMELA MARY BECK (née Brittain)
