Eileen, 80, of Shenley, Herts sadly passed on to eternal life on August 21st 2018. A lifelong Shenley resident, Eileen was the daughter of Robert and Margaret (Killeen) Brown. She was the school secretary at St Theresa’s Primary School, in Borehamwood, for many years during and after raising her three children. Eileen was a loyal member of the Church of the Good Shepherd and a keen gardener who enjoyed spending time with her many friends, and with her family. Loving Nanny to Nathan, Sophie and David, Sister of Shelia (John) Williams and Carol (Lucio) Buttarelli. Wife of the late David Swann and Mother of the late Christopher Swann, Eileen is survived by her daughter Margaret Searle, son Barry Swann and daughter-in-law Miriam. Funeral will be held at Church of the Good Shepherd on Tuesday 18th September at 11.00am followed by Committal at West Herts Crematorium, in Garston. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Eileen’s memory to the Cavell Nurses Trust and Macmillan Cancer Support c/o Phillips Funeral Services 01727 851006
