AVRIL ROBERTS, Grande Dame of local theatre took her final bow on Sunday 15th January aged 91. She was a highly respected member of society in general and Harpenden Light Operatic Society in particular. She will be greatly missed by family and all who knew her. The funeral will be held at West Herts Crematorium, Garston, on Wednesday 15th February at 1.20pm. All are welcome afterwards to raise a glass to Avril at Aubrey Park Hotel, Hemel Hempstead Road, Redbourn, Hertfordshire, AL3 7AF.
