TAYLOR (formerly GILLIONS). Marie Lilian, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, reached the fine age of exactly 93-and-a-half on 10 January 2017 and decided it was time to close her eyes for the last time. She had lived in Hitchin for more than 30 years, but her spiritual home was St Albans where she was born and where she raised her family with husband Bill. Widowed in 1972, she later met and married Ron with whom she shared the rest of her life. Her family and friends will be celebrating a life well-lived on 2 February at Harwood Park Crematorium in Stevenage at 2.00 p.m. Flowers to Austin’s in Hermitage Road, Hitchin, or donations to the St Albans Branch of the Royal British Legion.
