Patricia (Pat) Claydon (née Curry) 18 November 1932 - 11 January 2016. Pat died peacefully at Good Hope Hospital, Sutton Coldfield, with her daughter at her side. A keen Scottish country dancer and Harpenden resident for 46 years, she relocated in 2010 to Footherley Hall, which specialises in Dementia care. She enjoyed being closer to her family and was very well looked after by staff. Her last years were better than hoped. A character to the last whose ability to call a spade a spade, yet always look on the bright side, had got her through some tough times and made sure she was a loyal friend, Mum and Grandma. She will be greatly missed by Jackie, Jonny and grandsons Dominic and Michael and others who knew her. Funeral 29 January, 11.30am. Lichfield Crematorium, Tea party 3.00pm.
