Tom Haines

Haines Tom, of Kinsbourne Green, Harpenden, died peacefully at Capwell Grange Nursing Home, Luton on November 10 2011 aged 97, after a long and happy retirement. He was the much loved husband of Eileen, the wonderful father of Alan and Ruth, and the adored grandfather of Elizabeth and Richard. Tom was formerly the Managing Director of Buttons (Mens & Ladies Outfitters) of George Street, Luton and High Street, Harpenden. A private, family only, cremation took place on 21 November. A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be held on Saturday 10 December at 11.30am at Markyate Baptist Church, 50 Buckwood Road, AL3 8JB and all are welcome to attend. At Toms specific request bright clothing should be worn.
