HORNE Gordon Stewart, A lovely man and a true gentleman, aged 87, passed away peacefully on June 18 2011in St Albans City Hospital where he had been superbly cared for by the staff of Sopwell Ward in his final weeks. Beloved husband of Maureen, dear brother of Ella and much loved and admired by his many relatives and friends in UK and abroad, especially Australia. Funeral and remembrance service will take place at West Herts Crematorium, High Elms Lane, Garston, WD25 0JS on Tuesday July 5 at 1.20pm. By Gordons request, no black ties or mourning clothes. Family flowers only, but donations, if wished, in Gordons memory may be made to The Progressive Supranuclear Palsy (PSP) Association by collection at conclusion of the funeral service or c/o L.C.
