Roy Cosgrove Gordon

GORDON Roy, Cosgrove, born 1925 in Aberdeen and resident in St. Albans since 1983, passed away peacefully in QE11 Hospital, Welwyn Garden City on June 4, 2010, following an accident in which he had broken his left hip. The cause of death has been recorded as cancer related. The funeral will take place on Wednesday, June 30, at Marlborough Road Methodist Church, St. Albans at 2.15pm, followed by a short service of committal at Garston Crematorium. He is survived by his loving son John who can be contacted on 0207 5318 912. Donations in his memory are invited to be made payable to Cancer Research UK c/o E. Seymour & Son. 26 Marlbough Road, St. Albans, Herts AL1 3XQ. Roy is now with his beloved late wife Margaret who he met whilst living in Harrogate, Yorkshire during the late 1940s.
