A St Albans hair salon has been named as the 'Best Salon in The East of England'.

The Mosaic Hair Studio team were presented with the award during a ceremony held in Birmingham on Sunday (November 13).

The ceremony was for the 2022 Englands Business Awards, who sent a mystery shopper to the location to assess its customer service, staff presentation, backwash experience and haircut.

Company director Sally was then interviewed by the awards' founder, before client feedback was taken into account.

During an event in Cambridge, 200 nominated businesses were trimmed down to just 40.

Customers then had the chance to vote for the salon that they believed should win.

After being named 'Best Salon in The East of England', Mosaic posted on their Facebook page: "Thank you so much to everyone for taking the time to vote for us.

"This is an amazing achievement and we couldn’t have done it without all our amazing clients!"

The win comes after the salon was crowned 'Best in Hertfordshire', and won a Muddy Stilettos award in 2021.
