A man has sadly died during an incident in a layby on the North Orbital Road, St Albans.
The incident took place at around 12.30pm yesterday (Monday, December 12), when Hertfordshire police were called to report concerns over the welfare of a man in a parked car.

Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary and the East of England Ambulance Service attended the scene.
The individual was then pronounced dead.
Police have confirmed that his death is not being treated as suspicious at this time.
A spokesperson for Hertfordshire police said: "Police were called at 12.30pm yesterday (Monday, December 12) to report concerns for the welfare of a man in a vehicle parked in a layby by the North Orbital Road, St Albans.
"Officers and the East of England Ambulance Service attended.
"Sadly the man was pronounced as deceased at the scene.
"His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.
"His next of kin have been informed.
"Road closures were in place while emergency services were at the scene.
"The road re-opened around 4.40pm."
