A teacups ride and a small animals area was also enjoyed.
Claire Dolan, the college's deputy principal, said: "Once again Oaklands College's Lambing Weekend was a huge success and tremendously popular, particularly with families and children.
"We had around 80 new-born lambs to see, and thousands of people came from the local area, and further afield, to experience the wildlife and to engage in the activities on offer.
"I think the Lambing Weekend, which has been going for 12 years now, is a reminder to local people that we are so much more than a college for students and adults: We are a centre of learning of all kinds, for all ages, and a valued part of the community."
The event has now been running for 12 consecutive years.
