A St Albans pub has been named as the South Herts Cider Pub of Year for 2023.
A presentation took place at The Robin Hood on Thursday night (March 30), attended by St Albans MP Daisy Cooper.
The Campaign for Real Ale's (CAMRA) South Herts branch previously selected three nominations for the award, all based in St Albans.
London Road's The Great Northern and Hatfield Road's The Mermaid were nominated, but it was the Victoria Street pub which won out in the end.

To determine a winner, CAMRA members visited each pub before completing a form, and returning it to the organisation.
Categories from "quality and condition of product" to "style, décor and furnishing" were assessed, with a basic score given for each.
The award marks the first time that The Robin Hood has won South Herts Cider Pub of the Year.

However, the establishment was awarded the organisation's Pub of the Year award in 2021.
The pub describes itself as "a traditional English pub, with spacious seating, a log fire to keep you warm in the winter and a serene and vibrant garden at the back for those wonderful sunny summer days".
The pub also states: "We have a large marquee in the garden, to protect you from less than sunny weather.
"We also have a retro style jukebox with an eclectic range of music and an array of board games."
Janet Tansley, South Herts CAMRA's cider officer, said: "We're fortunate in St Albans to have so many great pubs, and a much better choice of real cider than can be found in many other towns and cities.
"Competition between our three finalists was very close but the team at The Robin Hood deserve congratulations for winning this title for the first time.
"Traditional real cider is often under-appreciated but delicious, so if you've not experienced it before, why not call into a St Albans pub and give it a try!"
