The event was held on Saturday (June 17) and featured acrobatics and extreme mountain biking among the attractions.

Prior to the carnival, the event's chairman James Rose said: "Running for over 50 years, Harpenden Carnival is firmly established as a highlight of the town’s social calendar.
“Every year this free-to-enter event draws thousands of people of all ages to enjoy music, performances, stalls, activities and non-stop entertainment – and this year promises to be bigger and better than ever.
"Not only is it a great day out for all the family, but the carnival also celebrates local businesses, volunteers and community groups whilst raising substantial amounts of money for several good causes."
Doug Sleaper, Savills' head of office for Harpenden, added: "Harpenden Carnival is an event that we’ve been proud to support for several years.
"The dog show is always hugely popular and the carnival as a whole raises a considerable amount of money for so many good causes in the local community."
