Five bedrooms and around two acres of land are included in a £5.9 million house for sale in St Albans.

Featured on the show in 2017, the property includes "stunning contemporary living", "high eco credentials", a private setting with views of St Albans Cathedral and a triple garrage with storage for garden machinery.

Instead, galleries are present, with space for art to be displayed.

A 30-metre glass atrium connects the two wings of the property.

The house's listing on Savills' website reads: "Of the 300 plus drawings produced for Abbey Orchard House, over 100 were for the interior.

"These drawings were then turned into reality by an award-winning joinery company, who specialise in bespoke interiors for luxury homes and yachts throughout the world.

"The result, as (Grand Designs host) Kevin McCloud commented is 'remarkable and breathtaking'.
