With Pub in the Park just around the corner, organisers have revealed some new features coming to the St Albans festival for the first time.

Hosted by superstar chef Tom Kerridge and TV personality Ainsley Harriott, Pub in the Park is returning to Verulamium Park from Friday, September 8 to Sunday, September 10, 2023.

The music line-up over the weekend includes a DJ set from drum and bass legends Rudimental, Eurovision 2022 runner-up Sam Ryder, Craig David TS5, and 80s reggae sensation UB40 featuring Ali Campbell.

Verulamium Park will be transformed into a foodie wonderland when Pub in the Park returns to St Albans for three days of food, music and good vibes.

Festival-goers can expect award-winning chefs, incredible pubs and restaurants, and music for everyone to enjoy.

Pubs and restaurants serving up delicious food include Tom Kerridge's Michelin-starred The Hand and Flowers, Atul Kochhar Restaurants, Tapas Brindisa, Great British Bake Off winner Candice Brown’s The Green Man, Hoppers, The Bull & Last, The Beehive and local favourites Dylans at The Kings Arms and Thompson St Albans.

New for this year, Pub in the Park is introducing a smorgasbord of exciting features perfect for all party goers.

Head down to tequila bar Pimentae or the Equiano Rum bar to experience the pop-up parties filled with dance anthems and good times.

If you want even more of a bop, join the silent disco and great ready to don your headphones and dance the night away in a boogie wonderland.

For those looking for something a little more laid back, soak up the relaxing atmosphere at the Bandstand where local acts will be serenading guests throughout the day.

For the first time in Pub in the Park history, one of the UK’s favourite TV chefs known for iconic cookery programmes such as Ready Steady Cook, Ainsley Harriott, will be cooking up a storm to close the three-day celebration on Lazy Sunday.

Celebrity chef and TV royalty Tom Kerridge will be returning to St Albans to host the proceedings on both the Friday and Saturday.

Festival-goers can expect exclusive Q&As, delicious live demos, and all the laughs from these incredible hosts.

If that wasn’t enough, even more chefs and experts will be at the fun-filled festival hosting the exciting chef and music stages.

Andy Clarke will be bringing the vibes to the main stage, while the wonderful Hannah Young will be getting top cooking tips on the chef demo stage.

If open flame cooking is your thing, queens of the barbecue revolution Sam & Shauna will be showing you how it’s done on the Firepit.

This year, Pub in the Park has introduced some new ticket packages for foodies.

Festival-goers looking to party from afternoon to evening can celebrate with a Super Saturday ticket designed so you can eat, drink and dance all day and night long – and what’s best is that you get the Saturday afternoon session half price.
