A new coffee shop has been planned for St Albans, occupying a unit next to a popular city centre pub.
A planning application for advertising consent has been submitted by Black Sheep Coffee, for 51 St Peter's Street.
The coffee shop would occupy the currently vacant unit, next to the Alban's Well pub.

A decision is currently pending, with details of signage above the door and further advertisement submitted.
No objections have yet been made, with Hertfordshire County Council's Highways Authority already stating that they "would not want to object to the grant of permission".

Black Sheep Coffee prides itself on "serving the finest specialty grade coffee."
The company also claims to be on "a mission to take down the big corporate chains".
The company's planning application can be viewed via the St Albans City & District Council planning portal, using reference 5/2023/1547.
