Knoops has been "an enormous success" in St Albans, according to the chocolate drinks shop's CEO.
The café opened its doors on June 16, and serves a range of hot and iced chocolate beverages.
In its first week, the Market Place branch performed 20 per cent better than the company predicted.

Upon Knoops' opening, the company's founder Jens Knoop described St Albans as "ridiculously pretty", now CEO William Gordon-Harris has added that the city is "a wonderful tight knit and welcoming community".
He told The Herts Advertiser: "Opening in St Albans has so far been an enormous success.
"It’s such a wonderful tight knit and welcoming community, with a generous mix of visitors to explore the natural beauty of the area.

"Since opening, the UK hasn’t been blessed with the best weather which has certainly aided towards sales of hot chocolates, with many locals coming back to try a different percentage chocolate option – truly experimenting with our product range.
"Our first week was impressive, with sales performing 20 per cent higher than we had projected and we foresee an onward positive trajectory.
"As we gear up for further expansion, we always look at new stores to parallel this success in other areas of the country.
"So, watch this space for the next Knoops.”
