A 28-year-old man has sadly died following a crash between Redbourn and St Albans.
The incident took place at around 8pm last night (Sunday, September 24) on Redbourn Road, when a black Ford Fiesta was travelling in the direction of the city.
Police, fire and ambulance services attended after the car collided with a property.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, with no other individuals harmed.

Detective Constable Neil Crosier said: "Our thoughts are with the man’s loved ones at this terrible time.
“We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with information to get in touch.
“If you were travelling in the area and have a dash cam fitted, please check your footage and get in touch if you can help.
