Regarded as 'Britain's oldest pub' Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, in St Albans, is set to mark Halloween with a trio of spooky events.
The establishment near Verulamium Park will host a pumpkin carving event on Sunday (October 22), a live comedy night next Thursday (October 26) and a Halloween club classics night next Saturday (October 28).

Here's all you need to know about the frightful festivities.
Pumpkin carving (Sunday, October 22)
During the pumpkin carving event, the fruit will be provided by the pub with both adults and children welcome.
Tools, paper stencils and preservation tips will also be given at the event, which will cost £10 per person.

Live comedy (Thursday, October 26)
Ye Olde Fighting Cocks' second live comedy night of the year with Jest Another Comedy Club will feature Irish Comedian of the Year Mary Bourke, Jay Sodagar and Des Feehily.
Again, tickets will cost £10 per person and can be booked by calling 01727 869152 or emailing ronan@sapco.co.uk.
Halloween club classics (Saturday, October 28)
DJ Chris C will be hosting an evening of club classics next Saturday, from 9pm until 11pm.
The pub's usual Friday live music night will still take place.
A spokesperson for Ye Olde Fighting Cocks said: "Expect to hear some spooky tunes but hopefully, there won't be murder on the dancefloor…!"
