Dates for Pub in the Park's return to St Albans have been confirmed - but the food festival's 2024 tour won't be visiting as many locations next year.
Pub in the Park with Tom Kerridge and his foodie friends will take place at just four venues across the country next year - with those taking place set for major changes.
Organisers say there will be "four newly designed, bigger and better festivals" in Marlow, Chiswick, Reigate and St Albans in 2024.
Venues such as Wimbledon, Bath, Leamington Spa, Brighton, and Tunbridge Wells have all been chopped from the foodie event's schedule.
The St Albans leg of Pub in the Park is scheduled to take place from Friday, September 6 to Sunday, September 8, 2024.
No line-up details have been announced yet for St Albans, but organisers promise "new chefs, new artists, new dishes, and new experiences" at the food and music extravaganza as the festival starts "an exciting new chapter".
A PITP newsletter revealed: "Having criss-crossed the land since 2018 bringing Pub in The Park to towns throughout the country, we’ve decided it’s time to put down some roots.
"So, next year we plan to replace our regional touring format with four newly designed, bigger and better festivals in Marlow, Chiswick, Reigate and St Albans.
"Each event will have its own unique characteristics that we are really excited about.
Building on the much loved Pub in the Park formula of great food, chefs, and music each event will have new features, more stages, new ways to attend, as well as having its own unique personality."
The Pub in the Park 2024 season starts in Marlow from May 16-19 with the festival's flagship event.
Busted, Ministry of Sound Classical, and Paloma Faith have already been confirmed as headliners for this opening festival in Higginson Park, with tickets on sale.
Chiswick will move from its original September dates to June 28-30 in the grounds of Chiswick House and Gardens.
From July 12-14, Reigate will host an expanded event featuring weekend camping and glamping as well as session tickets.
The Pub in the Park 2024 season will finish in Hertfordshire with the hugely popular St Albans food and music feast from September 6-8.
Organisers are planning an "even bigger line-up" for the closing leg of the tour and "to further expand its reputation as the ultimate end of summer season party".
Tickets for St Albans are not on sale yet.
The Pub in the Park mailing list newsletter added: "We are sad not to be returning to towns where we’ve had so much fun in the past, but in the current climate our Pub in the Park smaller shows are unfortunately unviable."
