A moped rider has been hospitalised with serious injuries following a crash in Hemel Hempstead.
At 10.45pm on Tuesday, December 5, police were called to an incident involving a white moped, which had collided with a central island on Leverstock Green Road, near to the junction with Vauxhall Road.
Officers and colleagues from the ambulance service attended and the rider, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital with serious injuries.

"Our enquiries are continuing, and we are appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch," said PC Jake Howard, from the Road Policing Unit.
"If you were driving in the area at the time and have a dash cam fitted, please check it as you may have recorded some crucial footage which may help our investigation."
