Plans have been submitted for two floors to be added to a two-storey building in St Albans.
The application, validated yesterday (Tuesday, December 19), would see two new dwellings created at 115 London Road.
Planning permission for the site's use to be changed from a restaurant to residential was granted in April, on the condition that development begins within three years.
The site, within a conservation area, would need to be compatible with the scale, character and appearance of the existing building.
The proposed extension would see two floors added to the rear portion of the building, maintaining the existing façade.
No allocated car parking is included within the plans.
