An application for two storeys to be added to a St Albans property, creating two new homes, has been withdrawn.
The plans - which were validated on Tuesday, December 19 - followed a successful application for 115 London Road's usage to be changed from a restaurant to residential.
The site, situated within a conservation area, would have needed to be compatible with the scale, character and appearance of the existing building.

A planning statement attached to the application claimed that the plans had been designed "to be in-keeping with the area and the host building".
No objections or comments were made to the application, which can be viewed by using reference 5/2023/2272 on the St Albans City & District Council planning portal.
