More than 20 solar panels are set to be installed at a church hall in Radlett after plans were accepted by Hertsmere Borough Council.
The 24 mounted items will be erected at Christ Church Hall in Watling Street, following a decision on Tuesday, January 23.
A Heritage Statement attached to the application, explains the works: "The solar panel system will be installed to the south and east facing roof pitches of Church Hall within the curtilage of the listed asset.
"The system will be fitted as per plans supplied with no changes to the listed asset.
"There will be no structural work required internally or externally and no landscaping work involved to the listed asset.
"The system will be installed on two roof zones of the south facing roof pitch and one roof zone of the east facing roof pitch on Christ Church Hall. "
Approving the development, a decision notice read: "The proposed solar panels would now be as arranged in four groups appropriately sited.

"Whilst they would be visible from the street scene, they would not be of a size or arrangement to result in significant harm."
An earlier application, validated in September 2023, was refused due to the solar panels' "prominent siting" and "cumulative and excessive number".
