Outline permission has been granted for two new homes to be constructed following the demolition on Green Belt land, in the hamlet of Colney Street.
The plans would see outbuildings Frogmore Lodge - located at 202 Radlett Road, which sits between Park Street and Radlett - replaced with two dwellings.
Seven outbuildings currently sit on the land including a shed, shelter and hay barn.
The homes planned to replace the outbuildings would be brick built and finished with tiled pitched roofs. They will have private rear gardens and off-street parking.
SUGGESTED READING
A supporting statement included within the application claims that the development and removal of outbuildings will improve the environment in the area: "The floor area and volume of built form on the site will fall substantially as a result of this development, improving the openness of the Green Belt."
The plans can be viewed by using reference 5/2022/2904 on the St Albans City & District Council planning portal.
No objections have been made to the application.
