A beloved St Albans pub and live music venue has announced plans for its 50th anniversary celebrations.
The Horn opened back in 1974, and is marking the half a century milestone with a series of special events throughout the year.
They will also be releasing a commemorative book and merchandise, including T-shirts, and other gifts to mark the occasion.
The Victoria Street pub has hosted the likes of Bastille, U2, Tom Grennan and Yungblud, with co-owner Adrian Bell acknowledging the importance of grassroots music venues such as The Horn.
"Grassroots music venues are so important for bands and acts, as they are the first place for them to play and develop their craft." he said.

"Without these venues where will the next stadium headline acts come from in the future?
"The Horn in St Albans is proud to have been here for thousands of acts over the last 50 years and we would like to thank everyone of you, that have visited us and continue to support the venue. Here's to the next 50 years."
Luke Hinton, the venue's bookings manager, added: "The Horn is more than just a music venue, it's a community hub.
"We've been providing a platform for local musicians and artists for 50 years, and we're incredibly proud of the role we've played in the cultural life of St Albans."
