Police are stepping up patrols in St Albans CCTV captured a man defecating on a city centre restaurant.
Cameras outside Lussmanns Sustainable Kitchen in Heritage Close showed a man committing the offence at 12.16am on Saturday, May 25, before he and a second man were reported to have pulled out flowers from the planters outside the restaurant.
Herts police confirmed that patrols have been stepped up in the area following the incident, which they described as "anti-social and drunken behaviour".
"We received a report of some anti-social and drunken behaviour on the High Street on Saturday, May 25. The situation is continuing to be monitored.
"Our officers have been patrolling the area in the early hours where possible to monitor the situation."
