Five planning applications are among the public notices St Albans residents should keep an eye on in the coming weeks and months.

Here are a few notices which could impact residents across the district.
1. Spicer Street
Plans have been submitted for the construction of an extension at 3 Spicer Street.
The development would see a single-storey extension with rooflights and a new boundary wall at the rear of the property.

2. Market Street
An application has been made by the owners of Thai restaurant Sukawatee, located at 5 Market Street.
The proposals are for the installation of new air-conditioning units at the rear of the building, as well as replacing the ground floor door, also at the rear.

3. West View Road
Permission is being sought for a single-storey rear and side extension at 16 West View Road.
The proposals also include rooflights and will come after the demolition of the existing rear projection at the property.

4. Sandridge Road
Plans have been submitted for a single storey extension and new windows and front door at 102 Sandridge Road.
The proposals would see the extension take place at the rear of the property, as well as the replacement of the windows and front door of the property.

5. Hill Street
An application has been submitted for the replacement of doors at 3 Hill Street.
The plans would see three external doors removed and replaced by the construction of new doors at the rear of the property.
