A Volkswagen car smashed into a traffic light this morning (August 28), leaving two roads in St Albans closed.
Officers were called at 6.10am today to reports of the single-vehicle crash in Beech Road.
When they arrived, they found a brown Volkswagen Caddy Maxi collided with a traffic light.
This led to a closure of Beech Road and Sandridge Road.
Delays for drivers remain in place several hours later.
