Pub in the Park festival held in St Albans’ Verulamium Park have just announced a surprise addition to their line-up.

For all those who missed out on getting Oasis tickets last weekend, you can "stop crying your heart out" as Pub in the Park have secured an exclusive performance from the highly coveted tribute act, Noasis.

Chris Hughes CEO, of Pub in the Park Festivals, said: “So many music fans were devastated at not being able to get their hands on tickets to be part of the Oasis reunion tour, so we thought we would give our festival-goers the next best thing, which is the UK's most popular Oasis tribute act, Noasis.”

“We can’t wait to see festival-goers in St Albans singing their hearts out this weekend to the best tunes from this legendary Britpop band who defined the 90s.”

This year, Pub in the Park will take place on September 6, 7 and 8, kicking off from 5pm this Friday with a jam-packed line-up of entertainment, including Mike Miller, Heart Club Classics with Pandora, Stereo MCs and Tinie Tempah.

Other exciting acts across the weekend include Olly Murs, Paloma Faith, Levi Roots and Bob Marley Revival. Chefs in attendance include Tom Kerridge, Matt Tebbutt, Simon Rimmer, Candice Brown, Atul Kochhar and more.

This year the line-up is said to be “bigger and better than ever,” with new bands, new chefs, new restaurants, new drinks, and new experiences.

The new Headliner Stage is set to host a full programme of 23 singer-songwriters and bands across the three days.

The festival promises an “unforgettable fusion of gastronomic delights, entertainment and live music.”

There will also be a new and improved Firepit Stage this year, as well as 10 restaurants, various bars, an Artisan Village and tonnes of kids’ activities.
