Cup competition was to the fore as the Herts Ad Sunday League returned following the frost and ice - and there were some impressive results in the county events.
Forever Young People enjoyed a fine day as a 10-0 win over Division One rivals Saints put them into the quarter-final of the Herts Sunday Intermediate Cup.
They were joined in the last eight by two other sides from the league with The Bull winning 7-1 at home to Langleybury Cricket Club and Brookmans Park beating Hartham United 3-2.
Jack Woods scored twice and there was one each for Dan Walsh, Joseph Fletcher, Jamie Sharp, Lui Neill and Ashley Talbot.
Adam Page got a hat-trick for Park and they will now play AFC Turnford who beat Wheathampstead Wanderers 8-4.
Stephen Buckler scored twice for Wheato with Frankie Buckler and Simon Fourcroy getting the others.
Little Heath had already made the quarter-final and they could play Oceans XI who beat AFC Hatch End 2-1 in round two to set up a clash with Watford Youth Sports in the last 16.
There was less joy though in the Herts Sunday Junior Cup as Strafford Arms Res and Alban Dynamo both bowed out.
David Fennell got the only Arms goal as they lost 3-1 to GSS while Sean Oliver got the Dynamo goal before being sent off.
BWSC reached the fourth round though with a 2-1 win over Mermaid Res. Alex and Billy Garvey got their goals with Ken Lee getting the Mermaid reply.
Six Bells moved into the quarter-final of the Herts Sunday Senior Cup with a 3-1 win away to Hemel Albion. Rhys Monaghan got two and Frankie Jowle one.
Plough & Harrow lost at the same stage, going down 3-1 to North Watford with Chris Dunn on target, but one round behind Skew Bridge beat Player Packs 6-0 in an all-Premier Division affair.
Patrick Sheehy got three for Skew with James Ewington (two) and Jacob Noonan the other scorers.
There were some league cup games played too.
Rose & Crown Mosquito beat St George's 6-0 and Royston Rangers had a 3-2 win over TNF, both in the Intermediate Cup.
Brookmans Park Res meanwhile won 7-2 in the Reserve Cup against Alban Dynamo.
Nathan Gibbons and Skrdlik Jiri both scored two with others from Thomas Brasier, Sammy Kinsley and Scott De La Fuente.
Strafford Arms and Phoenix remain third and fourth in the Premier Division after victories.
The Arms won 5-4 against Paxton Rovers with a hat-trick from Erivaldo Felix leading the way.
James Plummer and Dan Johnson scored as Phoenix won 2-0 against Hilltop.
Mermaid moved top of Division One after a 3-0 win over Harpenden Colts OB. Stephen Maitland (two) and Chris Wilding scored in the second half.
Little Heath beat Welwyn Garden United 4-2 with goals from Robert Pinto, Thomas Williams, Harry Lockwood and Bailey Austen. Daniel Harper and Nathan Studholme scored for United.
The top two in Division Two played out an entertaining 3-3 draw. Andrew Alsop, Dan Bevis and James Ferguson scored for Pinewood who stayed top ahead of Hatfield Seniors.
Welwyn Warriors won 4-1 against Excel with goals from Jon Cross-Hackett (two), Adriano Gil and Steven Mee.
Jamie Carey-Morrell replied for Excel.
Phoenix Res beat Hertfordshire Vets 5-4 in Division Three. Wilson Mendes and Roberto Rosero both scored two for Phoenix with the other from Robert Calaneca.
Welwyn Rangers moved second in Division Four after a 4-1 win over Hadham Rovers Yellows. Hayden Evenson (two), Sam Edge and Luke Stuckley got the goals.
Moretown won 5-0 in Division Five while Phoenix A won 3-1 over Royston Rangers Res.
