Phoenix are the new leaders in the Herts Ad Sunday League Premier Division after a high-scoring victory over Wheathampstead Wanderers.
They won 6-2, their second success of the year, thanks to doubles from Robert Calancea and Ali Bangura plus one each for Dominic Cuffy and Wilson Mendes.
Nick Casadei and Josh Walton replied for Wheato.
The win lifted Phoenix one point above Borehamwood Rovers who played out a thrilling 3-3 draw with Little Heath, Ross Gilbert and Robert Pinto.
Defending champions Strafford Arms were also held to a draw despite a brace from Stephen Dodd.
Chris Dunn and Chris Everitt left it 2-2 against Plough & Harrow.
Forever Young People and Brookmans Park shared the points in a 1-1 draw, Bradley Carter scoring for Park and Luke Foster for FYP, and Mermaid recorded their first win of the season in a 5-2 success over Harpenden Colts OB.
Their goals came from Stephen O'Reilly (two), Stephen Maitland, Ben Taylor and Anthony Douglas. Connor Norton scored both of the Colts goals.
There were two big winners in Division One, Wheathampstead Wanderers Res and Excel both winning 7-1 against AFC Borehamwood and Phoenix Res respectively.
Wanderers had Taylor Harris (two), Noah Arthur-Tinworth, Tommy Caffery, Kwame Ofori and Lee Birch on target while the Excel goals came from Tom Mullord, with a hat-trick, two for Callum Grimes and one each from Joe Curran and James Phillips.
Jevan El-Kaffash scored for AFC and Liam Addlesee for Phoenix.
The other two games both finished 2-1.
BWSC picked up their second win against Pinewood, Michael White netting one of the goals, while Steven Mee got the consolation as Welwyn Warriors lost 2-1 to Hatfield Seniors, Tom Mardle scoring for them.
There was seven in Division Two as well, Oceans XI beating Brookmans Park Res 7-0 with a hat-trick from George Fennel leading the way.
Montel Robinson (two), Cian Alexander and Tom Hills got the others.
Saints got their first success after three straight defeats, beating TNF 5-1 with doubles from Jordan Manfre and Ryan Solly (2) and one for Robert Rawlings.
Ben Rigby replied for TNF.
Ken Lee, Evan Wattley and Nathan Wooster gave Mermaid Res a 3-2 win against Welwyn Rangers, for whom Brandon Hurley and Harry Tozer scored, while Stratford Arms Res overcame league leaders Alban Dynamo 4-2.
Danny Clarke got two and Scott Buddington and Zack Neiman one each while Ben Smith scored one for Dynamo.
St George's, Royston Rangers and Rose & Crown Mosquito all maintained their perfect start in Division Three with a second win.
George beat Welwyn Warriors Res 3-1 with Ashley Kingston scoring all three and John Woodward replying for Warriors, while Brad Goldby Solomon and Ryan Lawler were on target for Rangers in a 2-1 victory over Wrestlers, Alexander Pratten with the consolation.
Mosquito won 4-1 against Hatfield Comets.
Wheathampstead 89 beat Marshalswick Rovers 4-3 with goals came from Alex Beadle (two), Steven John and Ian Shaw. Kai Takahashi scored two of Rovers' goals.
In Division Four, CPFC Eagles got their first point when they came from behind to draw 3-3 with MNF.
Ryan Hennessey got two and Tom Coxsey one for the Eagles while Jack Jones (two) and Chandler Monk were on target for MNF.
League leaders Alban Dynamo Res made it three from three games with a 4-3 success over Phoenix A, their goals coming from Ollie West, Frankie Delacy and Dean Pavett.
Phoenix replied through Donal Corcoran, Alfie Cowley and James Townsend.
Royston Rangers Res recorded their second win, 3-2 against London Colney United with goals from Dan Joseph, Dann Moss and Michael Sinnott.
