Harpenden Colts OB picked up their first win of the season in the Herts Ad Sunday League Premier Division after a nine-goal thriller with Wheathampstead Wanderers.
They won 5-4 with goals from Jamie Jones, Oliver Lacey, Connor Norton, Kelvin Chirandure and Momodou Jijie. Wanderers goals came from a Stuart Brown (three) and Stephen Buckler.
Little Heath were another team to taste victory for the first time this season when defeating Six Bells 5-0.
Matt Cagnetta was on the two goal mark and singles came from Harry Lockwood, Tino Masziya and Robert Pinto.
In Division One, Wheathampstead Wanderers Res made it five wins on the trot with a 4-1 victory over Excel.
Noah Arthur-Tinworth (two), Taylor Harris and Joe Rabey kept them top.
Welwyn Warriors picked up their second win when defeating Phoenix Res 4-1. Goals came from Steven Mee (2), Gabriel Asare-Bekoe and Mitchell Ryan.
Division Two bottom club TNF fell to a fourth successive defeat, beaten 4-1 by Welwyn Rangers.
Rangers' goals came from Charlie Montegue (two), Billy Dean and Cain Keller with Dan Smith on target for TNF.
Two goals from Max O’Shea and a Olier Innes single gave Six Bells Res a fine 3-0 win against Alban Dynamo.
An Alex Acklam hat-trick saw all three points go to Welwyn Warriors Res in Division Three as they beat Herts Vets 3-0.
Marshalswick Rovers beat Wheathampstead 2-1 with goals from Skrdlik Jiri and Dylan Tuck, Daryl Dunbar replying for 89.
Alban Dynamo Res won 7-0 win against AFC Watford in the Herts Junior Cup with goals from Harry Peter (two), Leo Collier, Aarron Crawford, Frankie Delacy and Ollie West.
Despite a James Jones hat-trick CPFC Eagles went down 4-3 against Cronies.
Jack Hutchinson (two), Ryan Lawler (two), Brad Goldby Soloman and Tom Perry were the men on target as Royston Rangers picked up an excellent 6-0 away win against Pattern.
Two goals from Ben Turville eased Phoenix ‘A’ into the next round with a 3-1 win against London Colney Utd while goals by Conor Robson, Ryan Slender and Ewan Smailes saw Stotfold Rovers defeat Green Rangers 3-1.
Two goals from Joe Fletcher and a Harry Sprowson single gave The Bull a 3-1 win against Oceans XI in the Jim Lynch Trophy. Ryan Hamilton scored for Oceans.
