It was a quiet week in the Herts Ad Sunday League but that didn't prevent there being plenty of goals and exciting games.
Welwyn Warriors Res moved top of Division Three thanks to a 3-2 win at home to Marshalswick Rovers.
They have played four games more than the four teams directly behind them but they hold a one point lead over St George's after goals from Stephen Harris, James Nugent and John Woodward.
Matt Lacey got one of the goals in reply for Rovers.
There were three games scheduled in Division Four but only two played, after Stotfold Rovers were awarded a home win over Monday Night FC.
Phoenix A had the best result of the day in the division, winning 5-0 against Royston Rangers Res with a double from Jordan Johnson backed up by efforts from Donal Corcoran, Josh Peddar and Edward Carman.
That moves them fourth, one place behind their opponents on goal difference.
Hatfield Seniors Res are fifth, also on the same points, after they won 2-1 against London Colney United, the consolation coming from Jake Riseborough.
Saints joined league rivals Welwyn Warriors in the quarter-finals of the Herts FA Sunday Intermediate Cup without kicking a ball, awarded the third round tie against Ashwell.
Borehamwood Rovers moved into the second round of the Herts Ad Challenge Cup with a 3-1 penalty shoot-out success over Phoenix Res.
The two sides had finished 1-1 in normal time, Warren Forman scoring for Phoenix.
There were two matches in the Herts Ad Intermediate Cup too.
Six Bells Res won 8-3 against Royston Rangers in the second round, Cameron Ferguson (two) and Ryan Lawler the scorers for Royston, but they weren't the biggest scorers of the day.
That honour belonged to St George's in round one as they won 10-2 against TNF, for whom Steven Orchard and Jon Tanton were on target.
The final game of the day saw Strafford Arms get the better of Six Bells in the Jim Lynch Trophy.
They won 5-4 to move into the last eight.
