The latest round of fixtures in the Herts Ad Sunday League saw cup competitions to the fore.
Six Bells are through to the final of the Herts Ad Challenge Cup after beating Brookmans Park on penalties.
The sides had drawn 1-1 with Reece Houghton scoring for Bells and Adam Page on target for Park, but Bells won though 4-2 in the shoot-out.
One of the semi-finals in the Jim Lynch Trophy was also decided 4-2 on penalties, Phoenix beating Strafford Arms after a 1-1 draw.
Ali Bangura got the Phoenix goal.
Little Heath will be their opponents in the final after beating Welwyn Warriors 2-1 with Nick Baker and Robert Pinto the scorers.
Gabriel Asare-Bekoe replied for the Warriors.
Forever Young People won twice in the Charity Cup this week, beating St George's 3-0 in round one and then 3-1 against Pinewood in round two.
James Ferguson got the Pinewood consolation.
Alban Dynamo Res won 5-2 against Hatfield Seniors Res in the Reserve Cup.
In the Goulding Cup, BWSC beat Harpenden Colts OB 3-2 with Billy and Martin Garvey and Ben Gray scoring, Jamie Jones and Ryan Carter replying for the Colts.
Mermaid Res won big, beating Phoenix Res 6-2 with Chris Wilding getting three, Craig Clark two and Alfie Lee one.
Oliver Sargeant and Thomas Merritt were on target for Phoenix.
A Cain Joseph hat-trick helped Alban Dynamo win 5-2 against The Wrestlers. Aaron Morrissey got the others.
Sunday's only game in the Premier Division had seen Borehamwood Rovers given a home walkover against Plough & Harrow.
There had been a double header in the week, Strafford Arms beating Little Heath twice to leave the latter second from bottom, while the Arms climbed to fifth.
Matt Walsh (three), Kaci Henry, Jacob Noonan and Jack Woods scored in a 6-0 win and all four got one each in a 5-2 win in game two, Lee Dykes getting the other.
Nick Baker and Robert Pinto replied for Heath.
There had been a walkover in Division One too, The Bull given the three points to move ahead of Hatfield Seniors and into third.
The third walkover of the day though carried the biggest weight.
Strafford Arms Res were given the points against Brookmans Park Res, leaving them five points clear at the top of Division Two ahead of Six Bells Res.
One other game in Division Two saw Saints beat TNF 5-1.
Lewis Cocomazzi got two and Jordan one, with Ryan Solly and James Manfre on target. George Hoar replied for TNF.
In Division Three, Herts Vets gathered four points against Rose & Crown Mosquito, leaving them third in the table, three points behind Royston Rangers.
Robert Gradwell got both goals in a 2-2 draw then added five in a 6-0 success. James Pickering got the other.
Stotfold Rovers all but secured the title in Division Four with a 6-2 win over Phoenix A, Alfie Hopkinson-Badgery and James Townshend the Phoenix scorers.
A Byron Robinson-Meiklejohn hat-track and one from Ewan Brand helped London Colney United beat Royston Rangers Res 4-3.
Archie Ferguson (two) and Jean-Paul Lyons scored for Royston.
