Harpenden bounced back from a first defeat in the Herts Cricket League Premier Division to beat West Herts.
They batted second but after Arthur Garrett had taken four wickets, Scott Galloway and Cole Briggs blasted Harps to a seven-wicket success in 22 overs.
The Watford-based hosts had made 183 after winning the toss, but had little reply to Garrett's late assault, accounting for the final four wickets to fall, at a total cost of 34.
Garrett finished on 4-42 in his 10 overs, Ashley Sivarajah getting 2-24.
Galloway and Briggs wasted little time after coming together at 28-1, putting on 125 in 14 overs.
The opener Galloway was the first to go for 79 in 66 deliveries, hanging around for 76 minutes and getting eight fours and three sixes.
Briggs thumped 10 maximums from the 41 balls he faced, and added three fours too, as he made 86.
By the time he left Harpenden had the game wrapped up, getting home a little more than an over later.
That leaves Harps third in the table, three places above Radlett who won by three wickets against Shenley Village.
The visitors are still looking for their first win but thought they were getting close with a challenging 209 all out, Umesh Valjee top-scoring with 54 while Md Nidheesh and Koby Cornwell took three wickets each for Radlett.
The home side's reply always looked to be on track although at 165-7 in the 42nd over, there were some doubts, especially when they were left with five overs to get 33.
But Tom Fielden (21*) and more importantly David Burnell (70*) steadied the nerves as they guided Radlett to victory with nine balls remaining.
Kris Nissen got three wickets for Shenley with two wickets each from Patrick Dooley and Matt Stear.
In the Championship, St Albans came close but were still beaten by unbeaten leaders Dunstable Town.
The top dogs made 206-6 batting first at Clarence Park, Ashish Padki (2-25) and Samuel Kumar (2-49) leading the way for the home side.
The reply came down to the last five overs, with 56 still to get, but that proved too tall an order and they finished on 190-8.
Joe Regan top scored with 32 while Maicol Javed chipped in with 30. Will Bancroft, Barnaby Fitch and Jamie Regan all got into the 20s.
Redbourn got their first victory of the season in Division One, and in some style - beating Old Elizabethans by 106 runs.
Charlie Mack and Adam Pritchard did the damage in the middle of the Redbourn innings, hitting 89 and 80 as part of a 138-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
It got them to 245-9 and the bowlers did the rest, ripping through the visitors' top order and leaving them at 56-5 after a little more than 15 overs.
The innings ended 83 runs and 15 overs later with Alex Salter on 4-33 and Josh Arnold getting 3-44.
In Division Three B, there were wins for both London Colney and Wheathampstead.
Colney beat Dunstable Town seconds by two wickets, while there was a nine-wicket success for Wheato away to Northchurch.
James Mason had a superb day, taking 6-27, while Mike Bryant got 2-17.
Chris Martin and Marco Rodic both got 42 as the target was reached in the 20th over.
