Keith Smart Passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Monday 27th February 2023 Keith was a fit, healthy and active 74 year old. Mary, Glenn, Lisa and Family are distraught and in utter shock at the sudden loss of Keith, a loving Husband, Dad, Grandad, Brother, Uncle and Friend. Known for the love of his beautiful garden on Hatching Green, always smiling and enjoying life. Funeral to be held on Monday 20th March at The North Chapel, West Herts Crematorium at 2.40pm. Please wear something Blue; Keith was a life long Tottenham supporter. All are welcome

I have only recently learnt of this very sad news relating to Keith’s passing. During local walks on the long evenings in May and June I passed by his show piece garden and wondered why I hadn’t seen him. Pleased to see the garden still looks as beautiful as ever continuing the family love of gardens which I first became aware of when Keith’s father was a regular winner of the Council’s best kept garden competition. I first met Keith when he worked at Rothamsted during which time we had many friendly chats.
