GRIFFIN, GEORGE of Bricket Wood, St Albans, passed away peacefully on 10th May aged 84. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Funeral service will take place at West Herts Crematorium, South Chapel on Wednesday 14th June at 3pm. I served with George in the Royal Navy during the 1960s in the Submarine service, he was a life time friend and the last remaining close shipmate I served with. A lovely man, we talked regular by phone and saddened when my latest calls were not answered and I discovered the sad news. I will splice the main brace in celebration of his life... God bless him...
