Brenda Violet Dawson (née Gear) Brenda, formerly of Colney Heath, died peacefully February 10th 2024 at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital. Beloved wife of Tom Dawson, mother to Lee, Gary and Claire, grandmother to Matthew, Lucy, Maria and Verina and great-grandmother to Lula-Belle. A Parish and District councillor in Colney Heath and St.Albans, Brenda will always be remembered for her commitment, hard work and devotion to both her professional and family duties, as well as her sharp wit, sense of humour and fun spirit. Very sadly missed by all. Donations to Alzheimer's Research UK (www.alzheimersresearchuk.org) and/or The National Trust (www.nationaltrust.org.uk). Funeral Service will be at All Saints Church, Minstead SO43 7EX on March 1st at 11:30 am, followed by a wake in the locality.
