Multiple animals have been pictured in snowy conditions at a local zoo, following hours of snowfall in Hertfordshire.
Photographs were taken by zookeepers at ZSL Whipsnade Zoo, which has today (Monday, December 12) been closed due to the weather.

Snow blanketed the 600-acre attraction today, and wolverines and Eurasian lynx were seen "frolicking in a wintry wonderland".
The cold conditions are set to continue according to the Met Office, with temperatures averaging below freezing for the remainder of today and tomorrow (Tuesday, December 13).
A yellow warning for ice has also been issued, covering much of the South East of England.
This warning will remain in place for both today and tomorrow.
