A spokesperson for Oaklands College said: "Oaklands College is looking forward to one of its most popular events of the year, as it once again holds its Lambing Weekend in the college grounds.
"The weekend - which is particularly loved by families and children - has been a key event in St Albans for 12 years, and gives people the chance to get involved with the busy lambing season, see the lambs up close, explore the Habitat Centre with its specialist species and exotic animals, and grab a tasty bite to eat from the range of food and drink stalls.
"There are also other farm animals to see, equine demonstrations and a range of children’s activities including a steam train and arts and crafts."
The event will run from 10am until 4pm on both Saturday and Sunday, and tickets can be booked at www.oaklands.ac.uk.
