Harpenden Photographic Society has announced the return of its annual photographic print exhibition later this month.
The exhibition will take place on Saturday, April 22 at High Street Methodist Church, Harpenden - the first time the exhibition has been held as a physical event since 2019.
Featuring work by local photographers, the exhibition includes images depicting landscapes, portraits, macro photography, the street, abstract photography and the natural world.
Harpenden Photographic Society chair Steve Collins said: "We’re delighted to be bringing back a physical print exhibition in 2023, after three years of being online only, and I am extremely excited that HPS will be showcasing some of the finest images from our talented members in this amazing collection of prints.
"As wonderful as images can look online, nothing beats the beauty of seeing fabulous photographic images that have been printed.
"Our exhibition is completely free to attend and suitable for the whole family."

The photographic society is keen to welcome new members. For anyone interested in joining the society, friendly society members will be on hand throughout the day to answer any questions about membership.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4.30pm, and refreshments will be available.
Harpenden Photographic Society is now in its 87th year, and caters to all abilities - from beginners to the more advanced photographer.
There are around 70 active members and the club is continuing to grow. Meetings are held from September to June on the first and third Tuesday of each month.
The society's varied programme gives members the chance to enjoy and improve their own photography, and to mix and chat with other like-minded enthusiasts.
There are also regular visiting speakers, allowing members the opportunity to learn from others and be inspired by other types of photography.
Harpenden Photographic Society is an active member of the Chilterns Association of Camera Clubs, and is affiliated to the Photographic Alliance of Great Britain.
The society supports the community by taking photos at events such as Harpenden Carnival, Harpenden Christmas Carnival, and also runs Art on the Common in the town.
