£10,000 has been raised by a number of local businesses at a lunch attended by EastEnders star Shaun Williamson.
The St Albans Chamber Of Commerce's St George's Day lunch, on April 21, took place at Sopwell House.

St Albans MP Daisy Cooper also attended the event, along with mayor Cllr Geoff Harrison.

A capacity attendance of 350 people were seen at the lunch, with Shaun Williamson acting as guest speaker.

The actor, who has also starred in Ricky Gervais' Extras and Life's Too Short, entertained guests with Barrioke and stand-up.
