Heavy rain and thunderstorms swept across Hertfordshire yesterday, with Harpenden being hit by floods and hail residents compared to "ping pong balls".
The Met Office had put a yellow weather warning in place for the whole of the south of England, with storms arriving in the evening as many tried to head home from work.
Station Road saw water cascading down the road thanks to heavy rains, with cars attempting to navigate the treacherous conditions.
