A man has suffered injuries to his head, hand and leg following a reported assault in St Albans.
The alleged incident took place at around 12.20am on Sunday (May 29), at Upper Dagnall Street's White Swan pub.
At that time, a verbal altercation reportedly took place between two men who did not previously know each other.

One of the men then allegedly struck the other with a bottle, resulting in his victim receiving a wound to his head and cuts to his hand and leg.
A 23-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of assault (ABH) following the incident.
He has since been released on bail, whilst enquiries continue.
Detective Constable Nick Kent said: "Our enquiries into the incident are continuing at this time and an arrest has been made.
“As part of the ongoing investigation, we’re keen to get accounts from witnesses to establish the circumstances around what happened.
