A convoy of mobility scooters through St Albans city centre is due to take place this weekend.
The 'Choppers for Shoppers' event, organised to raise money for St Albans District Shopmobility, will coincide with the Vintage Market on Sunday, June 18.
St Albans District Shopmobility is a scheme in which battery-powered scooters and manual wheelchairs are provided to those who require them in order to visit the city centre.

During the event, a convoy will ride along a pre-arranged route, whilst collecting donations from the general public.
Motorbikes will join the mobility scooter parade, with over 100 expected on the day.
Fourty mobility scooters will ride from St Peter's Street to 'Britain's Oldest Pub' Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, and back again.
The event will be started by St Albans MP Daisy Cooper.

Fourteen pubs and businesses that have been raising money for St Albans Shopmobility will also be visited along the way.
At 12.30pm, a blessing will be received by the Dean at St Albans Cathedral, ahead of refreshments and a celebration at St Albans Museum & Gallery at 1pm.
A world-record attempt for the largest number of mobility scooters in one place has also been planned for later in the summer.
